New York City, NY — September 10, 2025 — Monarch today announced the launch of the Monarch Crown Awards, a first-of-its-kind recognition program dedicated to honoring exceptional OB/GYNs across the United States. The program offers two nomination categories to celebrate physicians who are transforming women’s healthcare with compassion, innovation, and leadership.
"At a time when many physicians feel unseen and are asked to sacrifice their own wellbeing to keep a broken system afloat, the Monarch Crown Awards give them the recognition they deserve,” said Anna Lohrfink, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Monarch. “By spotlighting OB/GYNs who excel in both patient care and mentorship, we aim to inspire a movement toward compassionate, purpose-driven, and transformative women’s healthcare.”
Nominees must be board-certified OB/GYNs with at least 10 years of post-residency experience and actively practicing in the U.S.
Winners will be announced the week of November 3, 2025. Each winner will:
