Women deserve time, and so do their doctors.
Monarch partners with women’s health physicians who want to practice the medicine they trained for, in practices they own outright.
Start with a practice assessment
You went into medicine because you wanted to know your patients, to follow a woman through the chapters of her life and to be the doctor she trusts when everything changes.
Somewhere along the way, third parties decided that care should be measured in minutes and doctors in volume. They gave you more patients, more paperwork and less time, and they asked you to call that a career.
We believe women deserve better than a rushed appointment, and we believe the women who care for them deserve better than a life lived between appointments.
So we are building something different. It is a practice you own outright, a panel small enough to know by name, and visits long enough to actually listen. It is also evenings that belong to you again.
Own your practice.
Own your life.
Both sides of the exam room wanted the same thing.
Monarch began with one question: why do so many women in midlife have such disappointing healthcare? One hundred interviews with women surfaced the same thread every time. They arrived with complex, multi-systemic health changes and left feeling rushed, dismissed or unheard.
When we took that feedback to physicians, their frustration was unanimous. They wanted long-term relationships and proactive care, but they were trapped by payor mandates.
Suzanne Gilberg, MD, our first physician partner, called the practice we built together her “dream practice,” and she filled her panel almost immediately. The women wanted time, the doctor wanted to give it, and nothing needed to stand between them.

What Monarch is, and what it isn’t.
Monarch is the zero-equity partner for women’s health physicians building independent, membership-based practices. We provide upfront capital, back-office operational support and ongoing physician development, so physicians can step away from third-party payor interference and practice relationship-based care. Physicians keep 100% ownership and clinical autonomy.
The economics work, and the medicine gets better.

The voice of the model. Anna’s background spans reproductive rights work, an Oxford master’s in evidence-based social intervention, and asset management at J.P. Morgan as a CFA charterholder.

Suzanne Gilberg, MD
“When healthcare rewards speed over depth, both the doctor and the patient lose.”
The voice of the practice. Dr. Gilberg is a board-certified OB/GYN, a nationally recognized menopause expert, the author of The Menopause Bootcamp, and Monarch’s first physician partner.

It starts with a 30-minute conversation and a practice assessment built on your own numbers.
